While we will be sending out thank you cards to everyone for all the wonderful gifts, we wanted to express (in a slightly quicker way) how much we appreciate everything. After returning home and putting things away, the pending arrival of the Bean is becoming all the more real, and all the more exciting, and that is because of your thoughtful gifts and efforts, which are filling in the Bean's room wonderfully and helping us more adequately prepare a welcoming environment for him to come home to.
Additionally, we need to extend particular thanks to Nancy, Laura, and Leona for all their hard work in putting together the baby shower for us in New Baden. Also, we extend that same gratitude to Aunt Terry, Aunt Pam, and Jodie for the baby shower in Liberty. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!!! Both showers were really wonderful and you all just outdid yourselves.
Also, we wanted to say thank you to Amanda Booher and Toni Vitanza for putting together the baby shower diaper bonanza here in South Carolina. (It was a four-couple baby shower, as four members of the RCID family either are pregnant or recently [within weeks] gave birth, and the theme was diapers). We really enjoyed the evening and appreciate your efforts in helping us prepare for the Bean's arrival.
