Some marginally-good footage of a memorable realization

Many thanks...

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for the Bean gifts from Nikki's Easter weekend visit. Despite the limits of her luggage, Nikki was able to bring a few things home and they are all really quite wonderful/adorable. I wish I had been able to be there, but exams trumped this trip for me. Hopefully I will get to see everyone (or nearly everyone) in May...and now that things are settling down a bit, perhaps I can get back to adding (more) regular posts. I'm sure I'll have something to add after this weekend, when my parents show up and learn that we are "expecting." Should be quite entertaining--and I'll try to capture it on video.

It's a boy!

Here are the latest images from the sonogram. There is a 10 minute video that we received as well, but due to size limits, format issues, and other unforeseen restrictions, I am unable to get it from the DVD onto the blog. Nonetheless, I'm sure Nikki will carry it with her on her next trip home, and offer a viewing to anyone who wishes to see it.

Bean - Bags & Stuart (a visit)

It has been an exciting past few days and will only get more exciting tomorrow (but more on that in a moment).

First, Laura and Stuart came to visit Nikki, myself, and the Bean, and despite some less than desirable weather, we made the most of our time together. We played some wii, enjoyed a few drinks (Nikki's being non-alcoholic, of course), shared fits of laughter (on at least two occasions I saw Nikki cry from laughing so hard and I couldn't count the number of times Bags almost spit out her drink). All in all, even with it being a weekend relegated to "indoor adventure," it was really wonderful to spend time with Laura and Stuart and we are so glad they visited.

As far as the excitement in the air, tomorrow is a relatively big day. We should learn the sex of the Bean during tomorrow's visit to the doctor, and I will be sure to post the news on the blog as soon as I can (along with any visuals I can get into digital form--depending, of course, on how the sonogram works and whether or not video or images can be exported into a digital world...we'll see how it goes).

Anyways, enjoy the photos.

Until tomorrow...
